Summary: A Security Agent at The Sagamore Resort is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and property. This role requires a professional presence, strong guest service skills, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to a variety of situations while upholding the resort’s standards of excellence, discretion, and hospitality. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Provide a visible security presence throughout the resort property, including patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and docks * Greet and assist guests in a courteous, professional manner while maintaining security awareness * Monitor and control access to resort facilities as required * Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and guest or employee concerns * Complete detailed incident reports, daily logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner * Enforce resort policies and procedures while maintaining a calm and respectful approach * Coordinate with resort departments to support special events, VIP arrivals, and large guest functions * Assist with lost and found procedures and documentation * Monitor surveillance systems and report suspicious or unsafe activity * Provide first response assistance when necessary and contact emergency services as appropriate * Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment at all times Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * NYS Guard Card (preferred) * Prior security, hospitality, or customer service experience (preferred) * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to remain calm and professional * Attention to detail and strong observational skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed Physical Requirements * Ability to stand and walk for extended periods * Ability to patrol large resort grounds, both indoors and outdoors Job Type: Full-time or Part Time Compensation: From $18.00 per hour Benefits:
