Location: Moncks Corner, SC
Job Type: Full-Time, Grades Elementary-High School
Schedule: Monday–Friday (37.5 hours per week)
Weekly Pay: $1,875 - $2,026 (based on experience)
Contract: School-year position with potential for renewal

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered School Social Worker to support school students in grades K–12 in Moncks Corner, SC. The ideal candidate will provide direct counseling, collaborate with families and staff, and help build a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment that promotes both emotional and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling for students needing social, emotional, or behavioral support.
• Conduct assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to address student needs.
• Serve as a liaison between school teams, families, and community resources.
• Participate in crisis intervention, safety planning, and restorative practices.
• Support IEP and 504 processes as required.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Social Worker license (LMSW or LLMSW) and meet South Carolina requirements for School Social Worker approval.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Experience in a school or youth-serving setting preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with high school students and diverse family populations.
