Job Description

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting veterinarians with patient examinations and treatments
• Safely restraining and handling small and large animal patients
• Preparing exam rooms and surgical suites
• Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining instruments and equipment
• Maintaining accurate medical records
• Providing exceptional client service and education
• Assisting with inventory, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean, organized hospital
• Assisting with both in-clinic appointments and farm calls

Qualifications:

• Previous veterinary assistant experience preferred
• Mixed animal experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work with both companion animals and livestock
