Overview
Registered Nurse (Pediatrics) with Pediatric Cardiac Care Center experience in Rochester, New York. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 04/27/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,103 to $2,141 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour day/evening/night rotating schedule. On-call/callback and weekend blocks. Setting: hospital-based pediatric cardiac care unit dedicated to diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for infants, children, and young adults with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to pediatric patients with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions in the pediatric cardiac care setting
- Monitor telemetry, administer medications, manage IV therapy, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered
- Collaborate with cardiology and multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans; document in the electronic health record; respond to clinical changes promptly
- Provide family-centered care, education, and discharge planning while ensuring patient safety and infection control standards
- Maintain equipment readiness, participate in on-call/callback duties, and support quality improvement initiatives

Requirements
- Active RN license in New York (NY)
- Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
- Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required
- Telemetry experience
- Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and on-call responsibilities
