Overview
Registered Nurse – ER in Utica, New York. Travel assignment starting 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Night shift schedule (2x3) with shifts around 6:30 pm–7:00 am. Hospital-based Emergency Department position in a 64-bed ED with 2 triage bays, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 Trauma bays, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds. Weekly pay: $2,350–$2,380 per week. This is a travel, temporary assignment under Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED for newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
- Assess, triage, monitor, and document patient status using EPIC EMR
- Administer medications, perform interventions, and coordinate care with the multidisciplinary team
- Respond to emergencies, support resuscitation, and participate in patient safety initiatives
- Float to different ED areas as needed and maintain high readiness for trauma, stroke, sepsis, MI, and respiratory events
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team; ensure accurate handoffs

Requirements
- Active New York RN license (NYS licensure in good standing)
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience; pediatric exposure preferred
- Travel experience required; documented in resume
- TNCC is required to be in hand
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications
- Documentation of EPIC EMR experience
- Local rate option available for candidates within 75 miles; relocation considerations noted
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED and float as needed
- RTO must be included at submission
