Role Description

Day-to-day tasks will also include performing account reconciliations, preparing tax returns and other accounting support services required by our clients. The Staff Accountant will collaborate with other team members to support overall business financial health and provide strategic financial insights.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Knowledge of tax preparation and compliance,
• Prior experience in public accounting
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience with accounting software including QuickBooks and CCH tax
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with tax courses, preferred.
• CPA or CPA eligible is preferred
• Prior experience in public accounting or a similar role is preferred
