Role Description

This is a hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, PA, with flexibility for remote work.

As a Social Media Strategist & Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of a small portfolio of client accounts—leading communication, developing strategy, and overseeing content execution in collaboration with our team.

This role is focused on strategy and client management. You’ll work alongside content creators and editors to bring ideas to life while ensuring everything stays aligned, organized, and high-performing.

What You’ll Do

Client Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients
  • Lead communication, approvals, and ongoing coordination
  • Run or support client meetings

Strategy & Planning

  • Build and manage content calendars (2+ weeks ahead)
  • Develop content direction and shot lists
  • Align content with brand voice and business goals

Content Oversight

  • Collaborate with creators and editors
  • Review and approve content before publishing
  • Ensure consistency and quality across platforms

Performance & Optimization

  • Analyze performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Support monthly reporting and strategy conversations

Growth Contribution

  • Identify opportunities to expand client accounts
  • Support proposals and new business efforts
  • Opportunity to earn bonuses tied to client growth and sign-ons

Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of content strategy across Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
  • Confident communicator with client-facing experience
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple timelines
  • Creative thinker with attention to detail
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented
  • Self-starter

Compensation

  • Base: ~$3,000/month
  • Additional client load: +$200–$300 per account
  • Bonus opportunities for new client sign-ons and account growth
