We are currently seeking a SAP Basis Consultant to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant

Location: India

Role Overview

The SAP S/4HANA BASIS Consultant is responsible for the technical administration, configuration, and optimization of SAP environments, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability. This role focuses on implementing and managing S/4HANA systems across landscapes, supporting upgrades, migrations, and integrations within complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, install, configure, and maintain SAP S/4HANA systems (including Fiori, Solution Manager, and other SAP components).
• Perform system copies, client refreshes, and transport management.
• Implement SAP Landscape Management (LaMa) and Solution Manager for monitoring and automation.
• Coordinate system upgrades, enhancement packs, and support package implementations.
• Ensure high system availability and participate in disaster recovery and high-availability setups.
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across SAP landscapes (DEV, QA, PROD).
• Collaborate with functional, development, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor system logs, background jobs, and security audits regularly.
• Maintain documentation for configurations, system changes, and procedures.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of SAP BASIS administration and S/4HANA architecture.
• Strong experience with SAP HANA DB administration and Linux OS environments.
• Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, Fiori, and Transport Management System (TMS).
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, backups, and job scheduling.
• Understanding of SAP Cloud (BTP) and hybrid landscape connectivity.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–8 years of SAP BASIS experience with at least 2+ years in S/4HANA environments.
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA Administration or SAP BASIS preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage.
