Location: Dover, OH 44622-2026

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details:

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour Shifts
• Hours: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM
• Block Scheduling: Not Available

Orientation:

• 16 Hours

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract assignment in a high-acuity clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have strong recent experience in Labor & Delivery and be capable of delivering safe, high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout the labor and delivery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period
• Monitor maternal and fetal health, including fetal heart rate and contraction patterns
• Assist physicians and healthcare teams during deliveries and procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on labor processes, delivery, and postpartum care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Respond effectively to obstetric emergencies and complications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 18 months of permanent Labor & Delivery experience prior to travel
• Minimum 18 months of recent Labor & Delivery experience in home unit
• Strong clinical skills in high-risk and routine L&D cases

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact State License (required at submission)
• AHA BLS Certification (required)
• AHA ACLS Certification (required)
• NRP Certification (required)

Additional Information:

• Timekeeping system utilized for hours submission
• COVID-19 Vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
