LaSalle Network has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Purchasing Manager in Elmhurst, IL, to lead purchasing operations for a rapidly growing healthcare organization supporting eight warehouse locations. This Purchasing Manager role is mission-driven, analytical and highly visible, partnering directly with leadership to ensure critical medical equipment is available when patients need it most.
This is not transactional purchasing. The ideal Purchasing Manager understands the art and science of inventory strategy — balancing trends, rental turns, rebates and vendor negotiations to make smart, forward-thinking decisions. Lead all purchasing operations across eight warehouse locations
Manage and develop a team of two Purchasing Coordinators
Oversee $5–6M in annual equipment purchases across 50–60 core SKUs
Analyze weekly purchasing trends, returns and rental activity to make proactive inventory decisions
Maintain vendor relationships with 5–10 primary vendors and 10–15 secondary partners
Negotiate annual pricing agreements, rebates and volume incentives
Monitor PAR levels and prevent stockouts while avoiding overbuying
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, warehouse and customer success teams
Manage purchase orders, receiving records and asset tracking in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
Support special equipment orders for hospice and SNF partners
Lead product education initiatives internally
5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience
Experience purchasing across multi-site operations
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory trends
Proven vendor negotiation and relationship management experience
Supervisory experience or readiness to step into leadership
ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP or Oracle preferred)
Intermediate Excel proficiency
Healthcare or DME experience is a plus, not required
