Based in Wappingers Falls, NY, we’re seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Pool Installation Foreman to lead and coordinate the construction and installation of residential and commercial Vinyl/Gunite pools throughout the scenic Hudson Valley. Our projects range in value from $50,000 to $300,000, offering opportunities to manage high-end installations from start to finish.

This is a hands-on leadership role that combines field work with crew supervision and project coordination. We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for advancement, and year-round employment. During the winter season, our installation team supports our holiday décor division, making this a full-year position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct all phases of pool construction and installation, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency from excavation through final inspection

  • Supervise, coach, and schedule crew members, including assigning tasks and ensuring work meets company standards

  • Coordinate daily workflow, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule

  • Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and change orders

  • Conduct on-site problem solving to minimize delays and ensure project completion within scope and budget

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and enforce all safety protocols

  • Communicate regularly with project managers, suppliers, and customers regarding status, concerns, and schedule changes

  • Keep detailed job logs, track material usage, and report progress

  • Perform installation work when necessary, including setting steel, plumbing, and equipment

  • Assist with installation of holiday lights and décor in the off-season

  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2+ years of pool construction and installation experience

  • Previous experience supervising crews and managing job sites

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans

  • Valid US driver’s license

  • Professional demeanor; dependable and reliable

  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied weather conditions

  • Flexibility with schedule, willingness to work overtime as needed
