Salary: $89,000 - 115,000 per year Requirements:
- We prefer a college degree.
- We require 7-10 years of experience in network systems administration, project implementation, and general IT.
- We need proven background in designing, deploying, and supporting network infrastructure systems.
- We look for hands-on experience with switching, wireless, and firewall platforms, including Extreme and Fortinet.
- We require strong knowledge of wireless networking, firewall administration, and VPN tunneling/remote access VPN.
- We expect advanced understanding of network security and best practices.
- We need applied knowledge of current network protocols and standards such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SSL, IPSEC, TACACS+, and RADIUS.
- Professional certifications such as Network+, Security+, CCNA/CCNP, or Microsoft credentials are preferred.
- Experience with VoIP, SIP, and SIP trunking is a plus.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN is a plus.
- We require strong interpersonal, telephone, and written communication skills, along with active listening and customer care.
- We value excellent troubleshooting ability at both system and component level.
- We need the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- We expect sound technical judgment to match resources to technical issues appropriately.

Responsibilities: - We design and deliver resilient, technically sound network infrastructure solutions aligned with customer needs.
- We assess legacy network environments and recommend modernization improvements.
- We evaluate new network hardware, software, and communications technologies for fit and compatibility.
- We design and support virtualization and disaster recovery solutions, including VMware and Microsoft platforms.
- We produce structured cabling designs and related documentation for racks, MDFs, jacks, wall plates, and cable trays.
- We conduct onsite visits, surveys, discovery sessions, and audits to evaluate and optimize network equipment.
- We work with third-party hosted and cloud providers to ensure solutions meet customer and integration requirements.
- We build and maintain collaborative relationships with vendors and internal teams to support successful delivery.
- We advise on WAN/LAN connectivity, routing, switching, firewalls, and cybersecurity configurations.
- We perform installation, configuration, staging, and deployment activities based on approved designs and runbooks.
- We carry out migrations, upgrades, configuration changes, and cutovers in line with change management and project schedules.
- We implement and validate security controls such as RADIUS/AAA, Active Directory integration, wireless security, firewall policies, VPN/SSL access, IDS/IPS, and load balancing.
- We troubleshoot configuration, interoperability, and performance issues during deployment and stabilization.
- We create as-built documentation, configuration records, diagrams, change logs, and internal procedures.
- We transfer knowledge to customers and internal teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth handoff.
- We collaborate across divisions to support integrated voice, video, camera, security, and access control solutions.
- We communicate project status, incidents, planned changes, and service impacts to customers.
- We work to improve customer satisfaction through proactive communication and dependable delivery.
- We assess the business value and ROI of proposed and implemented solutions.
- We support team members during onsite deployments and configuration work across networking and systems technologies.
- We help ensure environments are delivered within scope, on schedule, and operational.
- We serve as an escalation point for service desk tickets and project issues.
- We monitor remote management alerts and respond through service tickets.
- We keep customers informed about incident progress, upcoming changes, and planned outages.
- We may provide after-hours on-call backup support when needed.
- We maintain documentation for computer systems and network infrastructure.
- We provide IT support for internal and external systems and network environments.
- We work both independently and as part of a team while communicating effectively.
- We maintain knowledge of our service catalog and how it aligns with customer needs.
- We document internal processes and procedures related to our work.
- We escalate issues that cannot be resolved within defined service levels.
- We record time and expenses as they occur.
- We follow the daily schedule established through the dispatch process.
- We log all work in the ticketing system.
- We stay current by reviewing IT publications and online resources.
- We maintain current vendor certifications and earn additional ones as required.
