Salary: $93,000 - 114,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a highly skilled network infrastructure engineer with strong troubleshooting instincts and a detail-oriented approach.
• We need hands-on experience with carrier-grade transport, including Metro Ethernet, point-to-point, and any-to-any layer 2 services.
• We expect deep knowledge of enterprise routing and switching, especially multi-homed BGP and multi-area OSPF.
• We require experience managing high-availability switching fabrics such as MC-LAG or multi-chassis etherchannel designs.
• We need expertise in large-scale VPN environments, next-generation firewalls, and secure remote access architectures.
• We value practical knowledge of content filtering, deep packet inspection, and secure segmentation in high-throughput security environments.
• We look for experience with Azure ExpressRoute, private cloud connectivity, and hybrid routing between on-premises networks and Azure VNets.
• We require the ability to analyze packet loss, jitter, MTU and MSS issues, routing loops, and other low-level network faults using tools such as Wireshark and span or mirror ports.
• We need familiarity with network monitoring and telemetry platforms such as SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, and streaming telemetry.
• We expect experience working in cross-functional settings and contributing to change management, testing, and back-out planning.

• We provision, tune, and troubleshoot wide-area layer 2 transport fabrics across geographically distributed sites.
• We maintain and optimize our core routing environment, including advanced BGP and OSPF configurations.
• We administer high-availability switching systems to support fast failover and resilient connectivity.
• We manage dense campus switching, VLAN planning, spanning tree behavior, and QoS policies for real-time traffic.
• We oversee large-scale VPN tunnels and secure remote-access connectivity across multiple locations.
• We engineer and support next-generation firewall platforms and enforce security policies without introducing unnecessary latency.
• We design and troubleshoot Azure ExpressRoute and other hybrid cloud connectivity pathways.
• We work closely with project managers and developers to ensure the network can scale for upcoming releases and deployments.
• We advise on circuit migrations, network upgrades, and application rollouts while following strict change-control procedures.
• We investigate packet-level issues to identify root causes of loss, delay, fragmentation, and routing instability.
• We define performance baselines, monitor infrastructure health, and build effective alerting workflows for faster incident response.
