Job Title: Light Industrial Assembler / Packaging Associate
Job Description

The Light Industrial Assembler / Packaging Associate performs repetitive, manual packaging tasks on a fast-paced production line. In this role, you stand for most of your shift, work closely with a team, and ensure products are accurately picked, placed, labeled, and packaged while meeting basic quality and productivity standards.

Responsibilities

  • Work on a manual packaging line with a continuously moving conveyor belt.
  • Pick and place products into designated boxes or containers according to instructions.
  • Apply stickers or labels to boxes in line with standard work procedures.
  • Perform the same set of packaging tasks repeatedly for extended periods of time.
  • Maintain a consistent pace that keeps up with the production line.
  • Work collaboratively and safely alongside other team members in close proximity.
  • Follow all established safety, quality, and productivity standards at all times.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
  • Monitor products and materials for obvious defects or issues while packaging.
  • Notify a supervisor promptly of any equipment issues, product defects, or safety concerns.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working in a warehouse, production, or packaging environment.
  • Ability to pack boxes efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to place stickers or labels neatly and correctly on boxes.
  • Ability to pick and place product into boxes with speed and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand and follow written instructions in English without assistance.
  • Comfort performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements throughout the day.
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for up to 8 hours per shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull light to moderate materials as required.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse processes such as picking and packing.
  • Ability to read and follow standard work instructions and basic documentation.
  • Attention to detail to maintain basic quality standards while working at speed.
  • Reliability and consistency in maintaining a steady work pace for the full shift.
  • Comfort working around production or warehouse machinery and noise.
  • Willingness to follow all safety and housekeeping practices in the work area.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
