Sperton Global AS, a global recruitment and consulting firm with offices across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, has partnered with a fast-growing U.S.-based DTC fashion and apparel brand. We are looking for a Fashion Designer (Activewear) to join the team on a hybrid basis, with occasional travel required to the company's office in Carrollton, Texas for key launches and meetings.
This is a hands-on technical and creative role focused on designing and developing activewear products for the U.S. market. The ideal candidate combines strong apparel design skills with deep technical knowledge of fabrics, fit blocks, and garment construction, who can manage the full apparel development cycle from concept to final product.
• Design and develop activewear apparel from concept through production.
• Apply strong knowledge of fabric types, textile performance, and garment construction.
• Work with fit blocks, mannequins, and fit models in the onsite fit studio.
• Conduct wear trials and fit evaluations across different body types and sizes.
• Perform competitor product analysis and market research.
• Monitor fashion and social commerce trends, including TikTok marketplace.
• Coordinate samples and collaborate with suppliers and production partners.
• Support product launches and live product presentations on TikTok.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in apparel design (activewear, athleisure, or performance apparel preferred).
• Strong understanding of fabrics, fit blocks, garment construction, and sizing.
• Experience conducting fit sessions and wear trials.
• Knowledge of e-commerce and social media fashion trends is a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing apparel design work required.
