As a Fiscal Officer 2, you will be responsible for the daily operations and overall fiscal management of the Department of Human Services (DHS), Administrative program fund, and Accounts Payable unit. You will perform budgeting, accounting, and closing of the DHS Administrative ledgers using various cost accounting formulas, in collaboration with responsible fiscal staff. This role coordinates year-end SAP closings and necessary journal entries for different departments and programs. Additionally, you will supervise Accounts Payable and Purchasing unit for DHS. Other duties include:
Distribute county appropriations Reconciliation of the DHS petty cash fund Oversite, payment, and reconciliation of DHS EZ Pass account Prepare operational and procedural manuals as needed Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as a County Fiscal Officer 1; or Two years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or Four years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.Other Requirements:
