Job Title: Apartment Maintenance Technician II
Location: Sacramento, CA
Pay Rate: $22 – $26/hour DOE
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our property management team in Sacramento. This position plays a key role in keeping our apartment community safe, functional, and well-maintained for residents.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on apartment units, common areas, and building systems
Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance issues
Complete work orders efficiently and provide excellent customer service to residents
Assist with apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and repairs
Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed (on-call rotation may apply)
Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies in good working condition
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications:
2+ years of maintenance experience, preferably in multifamily housing or property management
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance
EPA HVAC certification preferred (but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
Strong communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
