Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and building long-term relationships with our clients. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team.
Job Summary:
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing various accounting and clerical tasks to support our accounting department. Your main duties will include maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and journal entries
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing and payments
- Respond to accounting inquiries from team members and clients
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of real estate industry is a plus
